Dr. Toni-Marie Small

Dr. Toni-Marie Small is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who takes pride in making dental visits an enjoyable experience for children and their parents. She has undergone extensive training in advanced behavioral guidance techniques that cater to the unique needs of children of all ages, including those with special healthcare needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder. In addition, she is certified in performing frenectomies on infants and children using the light scalpel technique, as well as providing dental treatments under IV sedation through Pediatric Dental Anesthesia Associates to ensure maximum comfort for her patients.

Dr. Toni ‘s educational journey began at the College of Wooster in Wooster, OH, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from the University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago, receiving awards for her exceptional performance in pediatric and restorative dentistry. Afterward, she completed a one-year residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at NYU Langone Dental Medicine, obtaining a postgraduate certificate. Dr. Toni then decided to pursue her passion for pediatric dentistry and completed her specialty education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She graduated from her residency in 2020, receiving an award from the Florida Association of Pediatric Dentistry for her outstanding performance during her postdoctoral studies.

In her free time, Dr. Toni enjoys crafting, traveling, and trying new cuisines with her family.
