Dr. Fabiana Fontes Cloux, is a highly skilled dentist originally from Brazil where she received her degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). With more than 20 years of experience in the field, her expertise and knowledge enable her to provide exceptional dental care at Detail Dental Kids, and her fluency in both Portuguese and Spanish allows her to effectively communicate with patients. Her passion for dentistry started during her early days in the profession where she cherished every opportunity to work with children and developed a keen interest in promoting healthy dental habits from an early age. Dr. Cloux strongly believes that educating younger patients about the importance of dental care can establish healthy habits that last a lifetime. It is with this determination she spent several years working as a pediatric dentist before making the move to the United States.

To further her ambitions of improving children’s smiles, Dr. Cloux entered the Indiana University School of Dentistry’s International Dentist Program (IU-IDP) which offers graduates of qualified international dental programs the opportunity to earn a D.D.S. degree and become licensed to practice in the United States. Upon successful completion of the program, she earned her white coat in 2022 among a shining class of students who all worked through the rigor of studying through the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dr. Cloux likes building a rapport with patients and their parents, as well as teaching families about oral health care. “My goal is always to provide care to children in a positive environment. Just like the Detail Dental Kids’ mission.”
